MARK BAKER(I) TO RUN AS WRITE-IN CANIDATE FOR MISSAUKEE COUNTY SHERIFF
Many said he couldn’t do it, but Mark Baker prevailed against the Michigan DNR and their Invasive Species Order, which made any pig with straight or curly tails “illegal”. Mark proved that the Constitution is the best defense. Mark is now running for Missaukee County Sheriff as a write-in candidate. The Constitution is a contract between the government and the citizens, and the Sheriff is the primary elected official sworn to protect the citizens from violations of their rights. It is no accident that he has announced his candidacy for this position well after the August primary. “I am running as an Independent candidate, so I’m not beholding to any political party. The Sheriff should be a defender of the Constitution and the citizens’ Bill of Rights, not a political party.” With the goal to “protect and serve” the citizens of Missaukee County, Mark is applying to the people of the county for the position of County Sheriff.
